trouble making horror stories

Its a calm sunset town of Audenburg where the semi meloncholy atmosphere is set all around the neighborhood district Veil. a small sidewalk leads to a court yard where the apartments remain within the district. There lives those of lower middle class and such what with the world's uprisings and war profit. Those who try to get by and those who have nothing anymore, line the apartments with grief and subtleness. Apon this, children play day in and day out with not a care in the world or what goes on around them since school is unaffordable. The town around them is nothing more than a playground until they venture off to the off limits section of the District.

The Line station.

8 Children(rough around 11-16 age) out of the lot, braved themselves and strolled down the beaten path heading towards the Line Station.

there, they had moved farther off the distance barely able to see the District or the Town even for that matter.

moving closer towards the gate the saw what appeared to be a Circular devise with 7 spheres holding the lock in place. the didn't bother with it and climbed over. once inside within the Line Station zone, they walked deeper into what had appeared to be just an open dusty field with cable lines running for miles, Farther than the eye could see. just then as Dustin the one leading the expedition turns to find nothing but the air and cable lines. Frightened and astound to how his followers had disappeared he noticed a small humanoid figure appearing out of thin air in front of the cable line. with his heart pounding and mind racing he took one step backward and then heard his stolen phone ring violently. he carefully pulled it out of his pocket; eyes still stuck on the sight of the humanoid and heard the phrase that sent his blood into a chill state.

"i'll cut you into pieces"

Dustin without hesitation Bolted back for the gate and didnt look back. He soon realized that the gate had become much taller than before he remembered. He then looked carefully until he saw that the humanoid figure had not followed him. Relief settled in but still ever cautious, Dustin tried looking for a way around. He walked for about an hour until comming apon a small well arched tunnel leading directly back to town.

He thought to himself "what will i tell the others once they find out i came back alone"
Desperate to find a solution he heard the soft words of one of the kind girls he travled here with. he then followed the voice to a forest; oddly enough because there had been only dirt and sand but a few minutes ago.

ok im gona stop here because i got other things to do but ill gladly help you with the rest later. i hope i have given you inspiration and i would like it if you credited me in helping you with your flash.

good luck

interesting! i'll taking this to my list XD

of course i'll credit you if I use some of your ideas. dont worry.

Texas chainsaw massacre?

Some zombies movies like dawn of the dead or night of the living dead?

Maybe those would be better for gore or something like that.

A man staring lovingly into his partners eyes. They thought nothing could ever shake their love. As the man stared into her eyes, a single glare of light flashed in her eye. The man stared curiously as this small glaring twinkle in her eyes began to shift and quake.

Suddenly, two shafts of unspeakable terror erupt out of her eye sockets, tearing out from their cavities and plunging into his skull. People flee in fleeting terror, as they hear his terrifying shrills of pain.

Bones split apart as the loving creature twists it's stalk like arms in around his skull and then swings outwards, splicing his head in half and throwing them off either sides.

Here's a funny little idea.

I'm not good writing horror either, so I suggest you watch some gory movies:

Saw (all of them)
Audition (2001) - an asian flick with some disturbing scenes
Jabberwocky - you only need to watch the opening scene (it's the only 'horror' scene)
Cube
Rec (1 & 2) or Quarantine, which is a remake of the 1st Rec

...I can't think of more gory horror movies now...
other suggestions:

Read some of Stephen King's horror stories, I recommend 'The mist' and 'It', but all of his stories are somewhat scary

I hope it helps. Good luck!

I'd recommend you read some stories by H.P. Lovecraft and Edgar Allen Poe.. those are classics in terms of horror, if you desire to do something a little different.

I believe the best way to scare people, is to get them involved. Make your scenes darker so that everything can't exactly be seen, this is a simple trick to make people feel that much closer to your world. This entails making screwed up angles, because in real life, we don't see everything head on, some things are just behind corners.

I suggest you "lie" to the audience, tell them this actually happened, or is happening, fool them, and then friegthen them.

nice suggestion! i'll take it to my list.
